Solution.....

An update from IBM works for me except be warned that all documents appear in the new database as unread.

Make a new copy of the database.

File>Application>New Copy , then in the "Specify What to Copy" check the 'Application design only'.

TEST

If the miniview has reappeared, do the same but leave the 'Application design and documents' checked, allow the new database to be created and test again.

If all works, use this new copy of the database as the mailfile.
